Another one of the real greats is gone. Rest in peace, Ginger Baker. I just saw someone posting that he died today on Facebook. Funny thing is I spent the morning before I saw this watching Cream, BBM an GB's Airforce on YouTube.

Im torn on Mr Baker---

He SEEMs like somone I would enjoy hanging out with --- I mean minus the DECADES of massive drug addiction---

BUt he also seems like someone who really was a giant "f-ing train wreck" --- and was just DAMN lucky in life (and could play the drums like a GOD) but really his personal relationships and life where a COMPLETE DISASTER and the fact he wasnt shanked-- is a testament to his guardian angel--

wonder how it all woulda worked if he hadnt gotten hooked on smack...............might a just been Ginger Baker the school teacher.............who knows
