reminds me I need a few cans of spam
In Hawaii, Spam is served in restaurants just like bacon and sausage is served in the States. Rice instead of potatoes or grits.
I developed a taste for it.
Scrambled eggs rice with soy sauce and Spam is pretty tasty to me.
But it took a while to adapt to it.
At first, raw tuna made me skeptical. Then I realized how good it was with wasabi ginger and soy sauce. Now I think it's awesome.
Of course, in Hawaii Ahi Tuna is quite a bit fresher then what you would get in a grocery store here in the states....
Never did adapt to octopus...

  • Step 1
    Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Step 2
    Stir together the luncheon meat, processed cheese, relish, and salad dressing in a bowl. Spoon the filling into the sandwich buns, and wrap each sandwich individually in aluminum foil. Place the sandwiches onto a baking sheet.
  • Step 3
    Bake in the preheated oven until the filling is hot, and the buns have toasted, 10 to 15 minutes
