Remodeling the Jam/Studio Room

Up until today I had my DAW and monitors in one room. My gear in another.
Needless to say. This was inconvenient.

Today is day 1 of remodeling and I should have the finishing touches done by tomorrow.
I need 3 more wall hangers possibly a stand for my cabs and pedalboards.

Those who are familiar with my Riff videos know the iconic Clint Eastwood “Man with No Name” painting I have behind me.
I couldn’t bring myself to take it down and relocate it.
So I decided to incorporate it into my background for the next Friday Night Riffs clip I do.
I have other challenges too. For instance, this is also my guest bedroom. No @Iron1 you can’t sleep over. You spill too much beer.
@Headache , @mcblink , and @Mitch Pearrow SJMP can stay.
I still have a long way to go. But I should be done by tomorrow.

It’s still messy. But that’s tomorrow.
I hang the guitars. Put up some stuff on the walls they are more music oriented. Throw out some stuff I don’t need.
And by tomorrow it’s a proper studio.

Pretty cool man, looks good thus far!

If the housing market ever eases up and a fitting place hits it, we are looking into moving somewhere slightly larger. One caveat is it needs to be either a 4 bedroom or have a large spare room/finished basement/conditioned garage and that is so i can turn it into a proper music area like you're doing here. The walk in closet ive been relegated to just aint cutting it lmao

Im done for the day.
Finished the other room up pretty well. Mainly a storage room and the cat room. Now they will have new stuff to explore.
Tomorrow I'll get the guestroom/studio done.

The best thing about doing things like this is the chance to clean every inch of the room and get rid of things that are taking up space for no reason.

Congrats on the new space. I hope it's inspiring and a happy work space for you.

Hopefully after all the house renovations are done, I can have the cellar set up for me to write and record. It's barely functional for practicing right now, and not much for inspiration.
