I rarely buy anything from Ebay, but if I do it's only from sellers with high marks. I've gotten some good deals on NOS preamp tubes.

Any hacker could send you the message. How does a seller ship an item without paying?
And why would usps ask the receiver to pay shipping? that should have already been paid by the sender?
it doesn't add up. Too goofy to be true.
On the other hand it "is" the post office.
In many respects behaves like an alternate universe. Perhaps somewhere there is a shred of possible credibility that exists within the space time continuum....

I stopped using it, too many issues.
It’s not just because of eBay. In fact. It has nothing to do with sellers. It’s just bad guys trying to trick the unsuspecting into revealing info they can steal and exploit. If you have an email address or phone. You’re a target.
Like I said. I get these almost daily. Can’t deliver something. Funny this is. I have nothing on order needing delivered.

It’s not the seller, I had bought from them before on Amazon, what’s happening is politics. Musiclily is in China, the product was already in the US. Musiclily sent the order to eBay to ship, it then supposedly went to USPS. The postal service sent a message that they had the product but shipping was not paid so they were holding it. Cat and mouse game. I got my money back. It’s on eBay.

Most of the old tubes being sold are not really "NOS."
Used tubes which "test good," are not NOS tubes.
The only tube that can be called "NOS," is a brand new UN-used tube.
NOS = New Old Stock.
A used tube can never be called NOS.
"This tube "tests" NOS."
There is no such test. Don't fall for this scam.
About 8 out of 10 tubes being sold as "NOS," is a fake; they are normally defective in some way or another.
Most people who buy these phony "NOS" tubes are being scammed.
We bought 10 "NOS" tubes, only 2 of them actually worked right.
All of them were fake NOS.
The rest of them were junk and belonged in a trash can.
Tube Testers:
miss at least 50% of the potential problems.
Tube testers are not accurate.
Never rely on a tube tester to tell you if a tube is actually usable.

I was getting NOS tubes from Germany and Russia until the Biden show
I would say when the tubes are in a sealed case they are NOS but you have to buy in quantity's of 50 to 100
one thing learned the hard way is the fake new production golden lion tubes are garbage
Ruby tubes sent me all rejects my first order my Hickok 539C and TV-7 tube testers work well I lusted after a AVO MK3 or MK4 testers can't have it all
Have had good luck with the Telefunken / JJ made tubes
