Well that sucks tremendously. Not a Dumble amp guy but only a fool would say he didnt have an enormous impact on amplifiers and design. Very important name in the business. If his amps were already in the 6 figure range, id say they will soon be near the 7 figure area now that he has passed

Gone too soon at age 76. Notoriously reclusive, picky about who he built for, and hard to contact, he was nonetheless regarded as a warm & kind person by friends and customers.
