Push it - Tool

I've wanted to do this one for a while as it's arguably my favorite Tool song. I don't have a proper fuzz pedal so I used the fuzz setting on my Boss ME-80. The gain was backed off quite a bit and was probably at about 10% to try to keep clarity when I rolled the volume back (as low as 1). My mixing skills are pretty limited and this one tested them as it seems fuzz tones create a lot of competing frequencies; particularly on the higher end. Apologies there to the tone gourmands. The ME-80's chorus/flanger models also leave a bit to be desired but were needed here as Adam Jones often combines them both using very low rate speeds. The middle section had some delay and Jones uses a volume pedal in certain sections so there was a bit of tap dancing to try to perform this "live".
