Piezo pup on a SuperStrat... Best way to do it?

Hey, brethren... A good friend who may be going out on the road to present and promote live his new record, asked me to take care of procuring and modding a Fender strat to have an HSH superstrat config, with the added function of a piezo pickup for "acoustic" parts of some songs. I know there's a Fender MIM HSH strat config being sold as a stock item in music stores up here in Canada. All I'd need to do is mod it to adapt an additional piezo pickup. Has anyone here done something like this, who could share some insights / advice about the best way to do it?

I have not done it. I’ve thought about. I’ve looked into it a couple times. Just Google “piezo pickups for strats.” I just did and there’s plenty of choices… reviews and ideas.

Yup, seems like the two most viable options are Fishman Powerbridge and GraphTech's Ghost Saddles. At first look both seem to be good choices, need to do a little in-depth digging into each one for pro/con comparison & contrast...

That's awesome, Don! Precisely the configuration I need to do. I'm guessing those are piezo-saddles, like the graph techs? And I'm also guessing they're passive piezos or do they have a preamp board?

I looked at the Graph Tech Ghost as well.
I have 2x Godins with piezo and preamps. Also an ESP with a 3 way toggle and a volume. It's cool, I like ot. The GT seems pretty good and relatively easy to me.

The piezos are passive. The guitar has a stereo TRS Jack and it uses a Y cable and then I have an A-B switch box to select the piezo or the magnetics.
