I would lean toward the Majesty, but it would depend upon the behavior of the trem. If I didn’t like the trem, then I’d look at the Armada.

Triple pickup sets the St. Vincent apart. I would say the we can assume how Hack would vote, so that is 2 for St. Vincent!

NOt crazy about any, but if I had to pick it would be the St. vincent.
although, it appears to me a Firebird Thalidomide baby.

@smitty_p I feel the same way.
It may be even weirder now than you first thought.

Sticking to just the OP's 3 choices, I voted for the Armada. But.... I would prefer the other color that is offered for this year: Balboa Blue Burst

EBMM changes their finish options every year. There are other very nice colors that were available in the past, too. Not sure if EBMM will do a "custom color" option unless you're an industry hotshot... :hmmm:

They are all beautiful guitars. Originally the St. Vincent did not appeal to me when viewing them in the magazines or on the computer monitor. But when I toured the EBMM guitar factory last year, and got a close look at it, I quickly changed my mind.

The Majesty is sweet, too. But it’s too shreddy looking for me. I would feel really goofy playing my BB King licks on one... :hide:

The Armada really blows me away, though. Besides getting a real close look at this one too at the factory, one of the EBMM leading honchos showed up to one of my friend's jamfests with his own Armada. Very impressed with what I saw and heard. And FWIW, the Armada is a neck-thru!

Every time I pick up a EBMM guitar I am amazed at the build quality. They are without doubt some of the best in the business.

I'd really like to have one of the Petrucci models - I have been kind of hankering for a shredder axe for a while. Only thing holding me back is the price, as it would be a niche thing at best and not get a ton of use.

If you like the St Vincent
WHY NOT an Ibanez for under a grand?
