Sure you can. All you need to do is build your own forum and you can make it any color you want. As for here at TTR, you do have the option of dark background or light background.

No offence taken bro. So here is the deal... the foundation software that this forum is built by XenForo. I have not upgraded the software since I don't remember when, but it's been years. This was the second upgrade in the 9 years we've been online.

As an example look how many times Microsoft and Mac have come out with a new version. Needless to say this place was ready to make it run more efficiently and secure from AI bots as well as humans up to no good. My friend @AndyB was invaluable in his work to get this site highly upgraded, wrote most of the custom Add-ons that make this site the coolest unknown music forum on the web.

So to make it look exactly like it did, I'm working on it. I was experimenting on the text colors today at work on my breaks. It's a work in progress and I'm an old stinker still working a 9-5... actually 6am to 2:30. Add 2 or 3 hours daily commute and I don't have a lot of time to tinker under the hood.

So will this site ever look just like the old site? I'm testing color combinations trying to find a font color that looks good in both dark and light backgrounds. I haven't the secret to having different font colors for each mode.
