PA - mixer - Advice

If you have already found your choice, good luck. I have always (after many mistakes) found going a little larger then you need works best. Just when you say you won't need it... bingo! I have found that Berhinger has given me that. I have a powered Euro 1000, Euro 3000, Euro 6000 and an X32. Speakers I have non powered and powered speakers 8", 10", 12", 15", bass bins... The reason for so much is because it helps me tailor to the show I do. Last Thursday I did a show as "OMG" (One Man Guitar) and took the small system. In two weeks I have a bigger electric show that will use the bigger system. (The only thing I am missing right now is a roadie to help tote the stuff around, set up, tear down.... lol) IMHO you don't need to spend a ton of money, but you are better off not going cheap....

I am Mr Cheap anyhow that’s how I roll.

I paid a whopping $20 Can for this little, almost new, in a box, mixer. I now have 2 mics going thru it and room for Ninjas Acoustic, with room to expand as my Variax goes direct to the PA Kustom Amp via its foot switch emulating Acoustics.

This unit actually gets really good reviews online

I had one of those. It worked the whole time I had it. I’m not saying it put out any exceptionally good sound, but it never broke down on me. It’ll get you started, for sure.
I see you’re using the Kustom as a powered speaker...nice move. Waaaaay back in the day, I did something similar with a Peavey KB100 keyboard amp. It worked well enough.
Best of luck! I dig the random guerilla gear set up.

It’s working great, have 3 mics thru it now, the Variax and room for another acoustic, also have my chorus peddle hooked up and a line in for Iphone.

Best 20 bucks I spent in a while IMO

I’m stoked for you sir!
Getting up and running is a good thing!
$20.....I think I paid twice that for mine...like I said though...it was reliable enough. I think I had mine for like 7-8 years...did all kinds of stuff with it.
