Orange bass amp blown?

Hey all!
My son was playing his bass a while ago, and “accidentally” switched the input power on his Orange bass amp from 240v to 110v. (We have 240v ac here in Australia).
Now it doesn’t even power on, let alone work.
Is it likely now just an expensive paperweight?
Troubleshooting tips? Or should I just get a tech in to look at it?

Like @iblive said, check the mains fuse first. Best case scenario, it would've caught the mistake and blew it while saving the main transformer. But I will say that unfortunately, most fuses are 240v rated to begin with and are designed to blow from excessive amperage rather than voltage. That would mean that the next issue would be a blown mains transformer
 
I can’t get the actual amp out of the cabinet, so I guess I’ll have a tech look at it. Hopefully it’s not completely toasted!
We have circuit breakers on the house, and it wasn’t tripped, so I guess it’s something internal.

I have a buddy at work who was an electronics tech. I asked the question and he told me he would have a look at it over the weekend. His thoughts are either the transformer is toast (as a few of you have already suggested) or if we are really lucky, a capacitor may have been fried, but thats best case scenario. I’ll update this thread when I hear back from him. Cheers.

Under this circumstance it "could" fry the entire power supply, caps, tranny and all.

Ok. I got the amp back and its great news! An internal fuse, a capacitor and the voltage regulator were blown.
My friend went to the local electronics store and picked up the parts for AUD $24, fitted them and it is now as good as new!
