Orange and Orange

Just learned the other day that Ty Tabor of King's X prefers the Crush 120. He has a really unique tone that's instantly identifiable. He has been using SS amps for years.
A Notable Gibson Lab Series (L-5) user. I suppose reliable examples are more difficult to come by these days. I had one for a couple of years. The guy I bought it from asked me to sell it back to him....that’s the only reason I don’t still own it. Great amps.

Yep. He still uses it in the studio but he says it was not reliable enough for touring so he uses the Crush.
Aaaah...figured it was something like that...he and BB King bought up all of the good ones.
I‘d love to have one for the studio again....but I’ve since found an affection for the old Kustom SS T&R amps. They’re not quite the same as the Lab Series amps, but I do like them.

Yes Yargnad the 120 Crush is well documented for being Awesome, and it is, if you get a chance to play through one I encourage you to try it out..

I couldnt handle a 120 crush
I had the same one Session hyas -- (only mine was ORANGE ;) ) -- and it was more louder than I can use at home -- was a seriously good SS amp-- but I got a 45% profit offer and well.....Ferengi ,,,, you know........ its a THING ........

must follow the "code"

Well I played one, to try out, but it would be way to much amp for me, as I play at bedroom volume most of the time.

I don't remember Grump if it had bedroom setting or not, but the unit itself is too large for what I would like in my mancave.

The Brent Hinds terror is a nice amp Grumpy, I am leaning more towards the micro terror, compact, great tones, , and the price is cheaper.
