...is killing sales of gear on Reverb and eBay. They have even started taxing things that are coming in from China.

I have not been able to sell anything for well over a month!

Yea, I think we all knew it was coming and dreaded it! It will take some time, but people will get used to it and it will become the norm.

I hope sales recover. I really don't care for Craigslist...

yeah, I friggin ran into this on a few ebay purchases I made recently. Looks like I will stick to craigs and facebook marketplace if at all possible.

I stopped selling on ebay, once they bought out paypal and my stuff wouldn't sell unless i took big losses and got fee'd to death on top of that. Then if memory serves right, Paypal added fees to get your payments into your bank account.

yep---- I am not listing any "big ticket" sales on reverb anymore ---I see most the "offers" now are lower ---
as in a guy would offer 250.00 for a 300.00 guitar now he is offering 225.00 or 215 to offset the tax---


Craigslist--- TTR--- about the only options left for sales/trades

I may have to start shopping locally since I'm not saving money on mail order sales tax anymore. Not good for Sweetwater and the like.
