New “Thing” Day.
So.....not really an amp, but a device made specifically to aid in the amp/speaker relationship.
I mentioned it in another thread recently...so I finally ordered one.
I’m actually kind of excited....really.

This box is a handy device for matching multiple cabs to amps with only one output.
Specifically, in my case, if you have two matching impedance cab’s with no ability to daisy chain....like these two 8Ohm Peavey bass cabs:
Each cab has one input jack only. That’s fine and dandy if you have two parallel outputs on your amp, and can run at 4Ohms, like the blue sparkle Kustom head in the picture can/does.
If you don’t have the luxury of multiple outputs, and inputs, though....this little box is a great help.(I hope....I just got it after all)
It started with another Kustom head that I have that doesn’t have parallel outputs...the
K-250-2 on the right:
Or my new TC Electronic BH-250:
Both of those solid state amps will only put out their full power rating in to a 4Ohm load.
The matching Kustom cab(above) is 8Ohm, all of my bass cab’s are 8Ohm, and none of those cab’s are chain-able.
This box is the answer to that conundrum....and a few others.
