Now, seriously...

koo koo koo joob!

"He say I know you, you know me
One thing I can tell you is
You got to be free
Come together, right now
Over me..." --Lennon/McCartney

(not the same song, but in the same cosmic space)

"...and here's another clue for you all...
The Walrus was Paul..." --Lennon/McCartney

I dunno about the egg man. Mebbe the egg man laid some
Koo koo koo joob... I don't think I ever understood.
But I dug it, man...

Don't worry about that, it payed the rent and they had a couple of pounds left over :)
I think he's scraping by, yes. If I could have the royalties from just ONE of the Beatles tunes, I'd be a happy man. "I Want to Hold Your Hand" is supposedly their biggest selling single, so I think I'll pick that one. Does anyone have Paul's number?

Just wait a minute, I think I have it somewhere here.:D

What the hell does “goo goo g’joob” mean, anyway?

Let the games begin.

I can't find it now (damnit) but I had read and anecdote at one point where Lennon was quoted as saying that "Walrus" was a response to the fact that he found out that a college was offering a course in the 'meaning' of Beatles lyrics, and he found that so distasteful that he thought he would have a go at them.
