More retail closings , was just on the news Lowe's closing 34 stores here in Canada. Its getting tough on retailers, online shopping is taking a bite. I feel for those who will be losing their jobs, which these days seems to becoming the norm. I am fortunate to be around many of the stores, and I like being a hands on guy and support our local businesses as much as I can. I rarely buy anything online . I appreciate the local people I deal with and have got to know many of them. They give good Service with a Personal touch. I like to get out there and see what's new to be able to hold it and actually see what I might be buying, you just cant get that by looking at a picture online.

They are downsizing Mitch, they bought up all the Rona Canadian building centres, last year in a 3.2 billon dollar deal. so now they feel they have too many stores. They still had the Rona name so some stores were in competition with the Lowe's Brand. Now they will do away with the Rona name and reduce some of the stores. You know how it goes Marketing and getting there ducks in a row. Thankfully some will be transferred to other stores. Where I live the store will remain open.
