"...As expected - he’s having good days and bad days. Yesterday was rough and he was being hard on himself because he’s frustrated by the slow progress and he would like to get out of the ICU. Today is going well and watching Guitar of the Day always makes him feel more at home
People keep asking me about the type of cancer he has and it’s called Appendiceal Neoplasms. Evidently, it accounts for less than 1% of all cancers. During the surgery, they removed his appendix, spleen, part of his colon and part of his small intestine. We are so thankful for Dr. Alexandra Gangi and all of the doctors and nurses taking such great care of him! And thank you again for all of the sweet comments!"
