Noodling Notebook

OK here is what I am up to. I am spending more time holding my mistresses and every now and then I work up a cool chord progression. What would be the best thing to use to record these so I dont forget them the next time I am noodling around. I was thinking just putting my cell phone on a tripod and recording.

Any other ideas?

A zoom works great for quick recordings. Uses an SD card for quick transfer. You can find them used on ebay cheap. That's what I did.....mine was like new. Screws on a tripod too.

I have a looper too, which is great to jam to.
