I just picked up a .22 caliber PCP Air Rifle. This thing shoots pellets anywhere from 15 grains up to 40 grains. 40 grains are the same size as a .22 Long Rifle cartridge. It also propels them at over 1050 FPS which is very close to the powder burner! The good part...no license or restrictions to buy one! I shot a 25-grain pellet right through a 1/2" piece of plywood. I think it will shoot through a 3/4" piece, but I don't have one to test on.
