NGD Build - SX Rose # 3

I kid you not mates, this 24.75" scale strat is a fine instrument. It barely needed any fret leveling. Here is what else it has:

Tom Anderson SK1 neck, SK1-R middle (stacked singles), H3 bridge, all on push pulls. The push pull on the singles gets rid of the hum canceling.

Bone nut; black hardware; .022uf cap; tone on bridge wiring; Hipshot locking tuners; Oak Grigsby switch; A500K pots for all 3 knobs

I need a black switch tip!

I get my new mixer tomorrow, and will post a sound sample

Wow...great looking guitar Ray. I sure like the body colour and you have another one that is a purple colour transition Strat. And the head stock even has a matching paint job. I really like those SX guitars and you can't beat the price. I know you really like them Tom Anderson pick ups a lot but how would you rate the stock pick ups on the SX guitar? It looks like that guitar is really set with the bone nut and locking tuning machines and the loaded PG. And don't forget that black switch tip!

Thanks! I also have another one in this color. 24.75 scale strats rule!

I honestly have never given the stock pickups much of a chance. From my limited experience with them, they were not bad. The construction is above average for the price range.
