So, I spent a month in the mountains of Granada, Spain, and had my Godin Artisan ST-1 with me. It took only some few days before the neck warped in the heat, finally it was impossible to play, since I had no gear with me to fix it.
I decided to buy a small guitar with a graphite neck, to have with me on travels, but it should be a real guitar, not a toy.
There are some very very nice Vigiers with a graphite line in the neck, but they´re not exactly small and they´re expensive.
Accidently I found a headless Steinberger, it´s small, in the softcase it looks like a ukelele, and it has a graphite neck (it has not even a tross rod), it has a maple body, a very good R-trem and Seymour Duncan pickups (2 Hot Rails and 1 Custom in bridge). It´s from 1991, and built in Newburgh, the classical era for Steinbergers.
I installed a string adapter, put on a set of Ernie Balls 9-38s, lowered the action, intonated, and adjusted the trem to the new thinner strings. I also used some furniture oil to make the body shine a little.
It all took me an hour, they´re quite easy to work with, these Steinbergers.
Then I adjusted the pickups for a nice pickup attack, and recorded a 42 seconds clip with my Iphone, where I have plugged the guitar into a very small 1-watt Blackstar practice amp. Nice?
