NGD, a Monterey Strat

Awesome! You are the only other person I know that has one. I bought mine on the 50th anniversary of Monterrey. I was pleasantly surprised about how well it played. Major congrats!

I was just thinking about this post, and the 50 year anniversary of Monterey made sense. So, I looked up the serial number, and sure enough it was completed in July of 2017. The website actually said that the run of guitars was specifically for the 50th anniversary of Monterey.

My first move, block it & lock it unless it';s a Floyd

I have had exceptional luck with both the Godin 2 point trem and the new Ultra Strat. Not 6 screw, granted but they can be tortured profusely as I tend to do and stay in tune. Almost was shocked.
