New Vocal Fodder - Been a while ...

Thanks Ibs! No, not playing any instruments ...they are backtracks snagged from YouTube. Funny thing is I remained singing flat until like two days ago - I did a practice session making sure I reached up for every note with a concentrated focus on it constantly. If it slips my mind I'll just relax and be just short of the note. It's managed to stick, making the singing scale pattern just a bit different. These two songs I'm pushing up further to actually hit the note.

It's difficult but finding the way to do that sounds pretty damn good.

Yea, it made the world of difference for me. I sing in a "pushing to the ceiling" (not in volume do I mean) approach. It's more of a thought process where I sort of picture the "up" (not necessarily 'high') notes above my head that I have to reach to, and the down notes right at my mouth in a standard comfort zone - where I'm relaxed and usually "get them" anyway.
