congrats man, did you buy it from Gibson? I only ask as it says authentic on the box.

No, believe it or not Guitar Center was the only place in the U.S. that had the black nickel version.

Even Floyd Rose was out of stock on this.

I want silver trem arm but can't find it anywhere, all there is is chrome. for my LTD I want black roller tune o matic bridge in black all they have is everything but black

O.K. old Edge III tremolo gone, as you can see worn knife edge, 2008 manufacture date.


Since I have it stripped down I'm going to give the frets a quick level, crown polish. I'm no expert, but it will definitely help this one out.

Pulled an "almost" allnighter, frets- done, the Floyd Rose installed so easily.

Was expecting some fiddling around, not so. Floyd did just what is supposed to, with little to no fuss.

Amazing what a quality part, machined to higher tolerances feels like.

Time to get some rest.....
