I did this with the blueberry Lester. I usually run the volume wide open on the guitar and use the bridge pickup. This time I used both pickups, rolled the bridge volume to about 7 and the neck volume to about 5 allowing me to crank the amp volume up and leave me with that little something extra when I need that push over the top. What do you guys think? I haven't done any editing yet. Do I need more treble? Reverb? BTW this is the TSL on crunch channel with the gain on 7.

Nice beefy crunch tone. Good stuff!...and clearly captured!
Thanks Don. I have been running the amp on reduced power the last couple of weeks. Marshall says it is roughly 25 watts. With the guitars volume rolled back I was actually able to record with the volume on 4 without the cops showing up. Really liking what I am hearing lately. Still double micd with the E609 and SM57.

Pardon the playing here. My hands are nearly numb at this point and I can barely type. This is the new 800 clone with gain on 8, presence 5, bass 7, mid 6 and treble 6.5. Using both pickups again favoring the bridge by a couple of points.

I really like the tone of this amp. I'm just noodling around here on a little something that may end up being called "Mitch's Garage", but it will definitely get some more gain via my Mojo Mojo overdrive and Hypergravity compressor. There are no effects at all in this clip, but the new amp takes pedals up front really well. Way better than my TSL or 900s do. I do have a Metro zero loss fx loop to put in at some point.

That’s a cool boogie, need to do a search for a little something that BP wrote on a post in the other place.
Would be a cool lyrical part
