So --- Some time back Bocc69 posted a FREE curb alert on a non functional
Marshall control unit pulled from his Combo that was in need of some repair.
when I opened the box it looked like this
(look at that fooking Agile....the thing just GLOWS ladies and germs.....best 219.00 ever)
So back to the Marshall......a local AMP Savant friend of mine --OWEGI-- (really he can talk to these things ---and they talk back) whom is responsible for custom builds (the little sexy Tube AMp on the right in the picture) --- tube amps and other transistor filled yumminess......took a crack at her----
Much was out of whack and multiple systems where diagnosed and systemically repaired (actually he just plugged in the missing ground----no not REALLY--- there where broke capacitors, crushed fuses.....wonky connectors--AND an unhooked ground) all checked out and repaired )
THIS THING SCREAMSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
HUGE Yummy Marshall tone ---- 100 watts of balls out overdriven HAir Band 80's dripping whamo....
So fittingly I used (because Bocc69 was nice enough to offe this victim for free!) re-purposed wood (front piece was fire charred from the crack house several doors down that got knocked down---- I just HAD to use some crack wood ---- and some old spray paint to make a BOX to hold the beast ---which now doubles as
MY PEDAL BOARD as well.
