Do it. Find a Ferengi approved deal.
I paid retail for mine and have zero regrets.
The amp is unbelievably dynamic and tonefull.

Hack, nice score! I looked long and hard at the Rectoverb head and it is one hell of an amp. I ended up going with the Mini Recto because in reality I don't like and never use reverb, so it saved me a couple of bux, but essentially the same amp.

Not sure if you have had a chance to use it in anger yet, but at band volume, using Modern mode on the red channel with the gain around 1:00 is one of the greatest things I have ever heard. And I like it just as much through a 1x12 open back as I do through my 4x12. Great amp.
