Of course made in China. For the money , not bad. With a proper setup, don't think one could go wrong. Nice guitar for somebody looking for a budget axe.
Nice! the reviewer thought the pickup sounds wasn't what he thought should be for that guitar, I disagree with him on that one. Sounded good to my ears.
Gotta be better than the steaming turd I had as my first guitar, and much less expensive to boot (adjusted for inflation of course). The gear these days that's available for beginners is pretty mind-blowing compared to the junk we had.
