...I belong to a couple Knife and Razor forums. We sometimes fill a box with stuff related to our hobby and pass it around.

I have a lot of guitar parts and such lying around so I want to try this here.

So it works like this...

I fill a box and start it moving.
The person who receives the box can take a couple things they like or need.
Then they add items they don't want or need to the box and mail it to the next person.
The box continues on until everyone on the sign up list has had a chance at it and then it comes back to me.

I'd like to keep the box no bigger than a Large USPS Priority Mail box. That way it can easily be replaced as it wears out and no one will have to spend more than that rate to ship it!

Obviously I have to start a list first. Once I have the list and start the box moving there will be no changes to the list other than allowing someone to drop out due to an emergency or such. NO ADDITIONS!

I will start the sign up right here on this thread. To make sure I don't miss you please PM me as well. Only ONE PM PLease.

I will give this two weeks before I start the box. If you miss out or can't participate right now no worries. If it's a success we can do it again.

Only ONE box traveling at a time please...

Caveat...If the box gets lost or someone takes a lot and gives a little there will be no bad talking or crying about it. To work everyone has to be a good sport and try and make a worthwhile contribution.

No...but there may be goodies like Bass Strings, Pickups, Cheap Pedals...etc.

The big thing to make this work is people giving back as they take. It doesn't have to be high end stuff, but if you take 10 items and only put 1 back in the box will be empty fast!

This always worked and was always fun every time I've done it...
 
Okay...you people who are in. Please PM me with "I'm In" and an address so I can help guide the box and keep the trips as short as possible between each person.

Im good with the flow from WEST to east coast---
lets give the "sign up" a little time so we are not CRISS CROSSING the US 20 times :)

reminds me of a game we played in Boy Scouts--- in teh mess hall-- they would write down a phrase and whisper it to the first kid -- he to the one beside him and it went ALLLLLLL around the room 75-100 kids-- and counselors--- when the last kid would stand up and recite the phrase --- it was NEVER even CLOSE to the original

I've set a two week deadline unless I see a drastic slow down in requests...

...I have yet to receive a single PM although I've asked twice.
