NEw Fender Line up SQUIER Contemporary Line

That active model looks great; I'd still be inclined to change out the bridge for a more high-end one and the same with the pickups, so it wouldn't be a good investment as a modding platform compared to my Schecter, but I still think that it would be a great guitar. I suspect the bridge is the 1000 series or similar Asian-made Floyd.

As I read through this, it becomes apparent to me that almost everything has been done before with regards to the Stratocaster/Telecaster/Les Paul and the like. Not that its a bad thing, but its just like watching the same movie for 30 years.

Do any of you ever feel that way???

Yes, especially when covers of songs or remakes of movies come out and I remember the original or last remake.
Seems at a faster pace now though - Tomb Raider is an example.

Man I'm gettin' old.
Not lonely, just old, can you hear me?
