NAD Peavey ValveKing 2 100

The Valve King amps are often overlooked. I had a buddy that used it as a backup to his JCM800. He was able to get very close to that tone when he needed it.
Def, there is a punch & clarity to them also...the texture knob works great ..from quicker breakup to very full & tight..so many ways t set that amp

my studio is def not for the OCD. lol...not 1 thing in proper order except how does it sound..those cabs actually were built when i switched to guitar..spent hours on how much back to leave open to get the best of both worlds in a closed & open, The Cabs fit a Bugera V22 & Peavey valveKing2 that got made into a head. never would of thought how good the jensens worked with other circuits than fender. One day just tried it..wow the c12q & 12r sit well in a mix & on a p-bass & being 93db really allow the amp to open up earlier

Cool jam room! I'm constantly working on my equipment too with speaker swaps, pickup changes, pedalboards and various mods and repairs. I dig that ValveKing in the custom cabinet. Is the control panel the same as your new VK head? I did something similar with a Peavey Windsor Studio but, like an idiot i didn't think to rout the edges before I Tolexed the thing resulting in my corners not fitting. I ended up using furniture corners made for like antiques.
