Wll I have been sorta hush hush about this, except with gball. But it is now here so HERE IT IS!

I loved my Mesa Subway Rocket Reverb except for the fact that both channels shared the same EQ. Well that little issue is now resolved.

My new Mesa Mini Rectifier. Randal Smith really knows how to voice the EL84's like I enjoy.

Feast your eyes my friends. It even comes with a nifty little carry bag. How Sweet.

Now you're cookin' with gas, brother. That's a monster in a tiny box, have fun with it.

I have found a cabinet for a single 10 that I will put a greenback into. Selling my Rocket Reverb will fund the purchase.

I can dig it, Chas! Perhaps a 2x12 closed back with Celestion V30s?

I know you (ChasFred) were planning to load the Greenback 10 into a sealed 1x10 cab, but Goldmember has a point with the V30's, specifically the Mesa/Boogie version of the V30. I use my Mini Rec primarily with one of these:

Sealed back 1x12 Recto Cab with a Mesa V-30. It's seriously a match made in heaven, gives the low end a thump that you won't get elsewhere for the size, and they are very competitively priced, especially when you compare to what other builders charge for similar quality.

Here is what I had in mind. He also makes 1-12 cabinets. Of course a matching Mesa cab would be totally BassAss indeed.

Oh Wow!

Nice score Chas buddy. I gotta believe that’s the same setup as the Rectoverb-25 minus the speaker cab. That freaking rocks.

What’s funny is I can see you taking the picture in every knob reflection :rolf:

Ok my first complaint. The knobs do not have colored marks of any sort. Just dimples, time to break out the Restore paint to fill them in. Damn all most a deal breaker. :pound-hand:

To be fair, the little dimples are plain brass, so technically they are colored gold and the rest of the knob is silver :D

But I know what you mean. When I first got mine it kind of bugged me, because I had owned a Recto Solo head years ago and the knobs are much bigger and easier to see the dot on, but then I realized you shouldn't dial it in by sight just the sound because the Mesa tone stack doesn't work quite like other amps and your eyes will be telling you it's "wrong"
