I would like to be as candid & open as possible. These is some amps in this house. I find the most joy in lil bug. Maybe cause did the first CD on it & never played guitar but for 6 months. I didn't know jack about tubes...pre gain..speakers ect. bass player..strait into Ampeg SVT or Pf series. No pedals,,just P bass & Ibby active.
The bug..stands on its own...13 watts or 22(incredible in studio) big open or od it quicker, The clean is a raspy fender,,the dirt...its not vox..its not fender..its not marshall..it is a mid pop in the range of all of em. Master on 7..the amp is at a zone of right there..its big
pedals..just tried em am..the hiwatt-la grange-rat-simble-klon cl...al of the character of the pedal shines through
reverb..only reverb i can stomp on live & use right..not a cavern..just a spread of lead tone
Stock speaker.mated to amp just right
I just swapped 7 speakers..not 1 was over all better..will pair it with a Celestion V type in a 1x12 cab have saved since toured in 2016 with the v22 head
In the end..a $250 amp & $300 Epi korean dot & a few pedals...really is my tone. I been chasing it with all these amps..that said...Super Reverb for my studio Rythym for sure or Reverb Pro for non break( singer fits perfect)

I had Supro-Vox-Egnater all in the cart this week ready to buy,, dug out my first Cd & listened real close...been chasing tone since i "thought" i needed..vintage.new..flavor of week gear...just needed to practice..will never stop gear trades,,its a hobby..but i do want settled in cause of band...Robert & his Marshall DSL is exactly where i am ..understand his quest !!.you need your sound & need it consistent..it takes a lot of work..trial & error to get the ingredients together,,you can't buy..practice & hard work...must earn it..
