so just got the Joyo Zombie 2. At first I tried it with the Stax oceanverb reverb pedal... and I can honestly say, probably the worst reverb pedal I ever had... at has a really fuzzy high end and no matter what I do I can’t get it to just add some subtle reverb...

The amp on the other hand.. well... I only had time to play with it a bit, I have to go to work soon as well but I’ll leave you with this...

Which one is the Friedman knockoff?

I may have to look at that one too. My ZOMBIE impressed me for sure, I would be interested in a Friedman knockoff lol
Called the Freezeman lol.

Bet it makes a great tracking amp. Who am I kidding, I just love that Friedman tone.

It's the best of all worlds, everything good about a Marshall mated with great gain and saturation!

Haha! Derails are apart of this community, besides I was driving anyways :).

Anyways, I do have an EQ pedal.. believe it’s a 7 band, I’d have to look again. I also have an Ibanez tube screamer mini overdrive pedal on the way, I’m going to use that for tightening up the bottom end and giving it more midrange push. This amp was modeled after a Mesa boogie dual rectifier and I’ve found that most metal artist that used those used the tube screamer for the same reason. The amp itself is not noisy, I have a noise reducer pedal if needed but I think I’ll be fine as is.

What I’m thinking is through the effects loop in the back I’m going to run a reverb pedal and my eq pedal, that way they can just sit on my cab and not take up any space. Through the front end I’m going to run the tube screamer, followed by my MXR chorus, then my crybaby from hell wah pedal on my pedal board.

Tomorrow when I get home I’m going to tune up my V and see if anything charges when I run EMG’s through this little beast. Well.. what changes besides output...

I use a TS-9 in front of mine and the GE-7 in the loop, really sounds awesome.

Honestly, just by itself I’m pretty happy with my purchase. I wanted an amp that can play metal without a distortion pedal, easy to transport, with tone. This fits the bill and as with my orange micro terror, it gets seriously effing loud especially for a 20 watt through my 2x12.

So I was going to buy another reverb pedal however my coworker who gave me the peavey amp is selling me a zoom g3n multi effects processor for $50... so I’m planning on using that for reverb, compressor, and I’ll have an extra slot for whatever else I may need. I’m still going to use the tube screamer and my crybaby from hell but that may of solved any and all issues...
