Is that a Greenback 10 or 12? Curious.

I've used Greenback 10's in other amps and felt they are not right for this amp for me, the top end is a bit soft and the low end kind of wooly in them. I wanted something tighter and brighter so went with the G-10 Gold.

That is what I am hearing also. It starts to break up between 4-5
I plugged into my LoneStar 19 with the Vintage 30. Tighter bottom, high end very crisp. Break up between 3-4. Sonicly a lot louder.
I will have to try the Weber 10" AlNico next. It just happens to be on the bench waiting its turn.
