So all the locals I used to know were and still are fans . Some good musicians who were close but never quite made it. I had heard Rock Bottom a million times by 1979
Now for what ever reason I have focused on the album Force IT and Let It Roll . This is my rinky dink version . I think very few people realize how many tricks Schenker puts in one little song until you try playing it.
The studio version has the short lead version. but only backing track I can find that is good. Not using a real amp so here it goes , oh and the bumble after the first break is me trying to cut the volume back :

Thanks eSGEe , It has been hard trying to pull this song together. Every time I would practice it would be without even a metronome so I developed a lot of bad habits early on. I have seen him play a lot of times over the years and every time is still a joy. I am more of a fan than a real player but enjoy it.
Having Uli come back with the scorpions revisited was great also.

I can completely relate to all said above me, I have only played lights out in a band situation, but that was a long time ago, I have learned most of Mother Mary, but haven’t sat down with it in years but now you
Ibmorjamn have me in a perplexing situation!
I am going to spend a little bit of time to brush up the old ears and bring an ill fated rhythm clip of MM and Hollywood, Thin Lizzy!
Cheers Mitch

Mitch , I try to check that out . Great rhythm on that song . Some of Shenker’s song focus on his guitar only like On With The Action . I started learning that song and this drummer I know was not interested .
I played the opening riff of MM to a singer who thought he knew a lot about music, his reply was we can make that our own song.
WTF. I am seriously going to sit with it for a couple of minutes/ hours!
And bring something back, no lead bro, you out class me there,
but the second guitar lines I can handle!
Cheers Mitch
