My latest project

[fretless]

Well, boredom took over yet again. I’ve been staring at a 20th anniversary Squier p-bass which was in dire need of a refinishing, body-wise. So... what used to be fiesta red got sanded down to bare wood and stained midnight blue, festooned with a nice tortoise shell pickguard from Musiclily. The headstock got drilled out to 14mm tuner holes and a nice set of tuning machines installed. Just got it put together and set up last night. Gave the old girl a run around the block today and I must say that I officially love p basses! Stay tuned, there’s more projects around the bend!

Thanks! Poor old thing has been laying around in pieces in my shop for the better part of last year. I finally came to the conclusion that I need a p-bass to add to the herd. There may be a fretless p-bass in the near future, if all goes well.
