Robben Ford explains it much better than I ever could.
Indeed he does bring everything to the table whenever he plays. Rhythm, Chord Comping, and soloing all wrapped up in one neat package.Robben’s the man! Not just a great, great soloist, he’s an amazing rhythm/comping player, too.
RF is truly a great live performer and an out of this world player. But as for 9ths Im off to play Stormy Monday.Indeed he does bring everything to the table whenever he plays. Rhythm, Chord Comping, and soloing all wrapped up in one neat package.
I’ve had the privilege of sitting at the master’s feet at an all-day seminar and in zoom lessons through his Guitar Dojo. In addition to being a fountain of music, he’s a beautiful human being and a great teacher.RF is truly a great live performer and an out of this world player. That sounds pretty amazing. I have seen him live a few times and am always amazed with the way he’s seamlessly blends different styles and incredibly complicated playing. All the while making it seem effortless and nonchalant. Not even human.I’ve had the privilege of sitting at the master’s feet at an all-day seminar and in zoom lessons through his Guitar Dojo. Ninths are nice as spice. Pretty filling as a steady diet.
