Before my pops mothballed his , I rode it on the street a few times.
But I never did get the motorcycle license. And at that time there was no helmet law..

My last 2 bikes. The black one is a 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan VN 900 that I've owned for the last 5 or so years. I bought it off a friend who needed quick cash to go home to Ireland as his mother was dying. I made it a condition that he could buy it back at the same price if he wanted it back, but he no longer desires to ride a bike.
The blue one was a 2005 Kawasaki VN 250 Eliminator that I paid $3000 for used. It had 17000 km on it when I bought it, and when I sold it 2 years later it had nearly 45000 km on it. It was uncomfortable as hell, but was nimble and had a 6th gear which actually allowed decent highway cruising speeds.
And the straight pipes with no mufflers made it as loud as Hell!
I still have the black 900, and absolutely love going for a cruise on it.
