Movies that didn't stand the test of time

Continuing the movie theme I suppose, but what movies have you seen recently that you saw years and years ago, that just wasn't up to the great standard you remembered.

For me, there are a few that I really loved back in the day and remembered fondly, but when I recently rewatched them, I was like.....wtf?

Scent of a Woman - I remember Pacino being so good in this movie. When I rewatched it last year I absolutely hated his character and Chris O'Donnel's acting

A movie I just saw yesterday that I had never seen before was Escape from New York. This did not age well.

Lawnmower Man - Loved this movie back when it came out, but wow it did not age well. Horrible plot and acting. Funny thing is, after I watched this movie back in 1992, I had the thought that if you could "plug into" a computer and interrupt the electrical impulses from your various nerves into your brain, you could virtually inject yourself into a made up world. Seven years later, watching The Matrix:

Most of my "let down movies" typically end up being horror ( Which is my favorite genre overall). Too many were hailed as " the scariest movie since The Exorcist!" which is bunk, cause theres only one Exorcist lol

That being said:
The Conjuring
I Know What You Did Last Summer
Lost Souls
The Last Exorcism

I wanted all of them to be greater but they fell like a tree in every aspect. Non horror movies that choked however?

Vanilla Sky
The Godfather Part 3
Gods and Generals
The Matrix trilogy
Any Terminator after T2

American Ninja

as kid i thought that was coolest poop but when i watched it i was like realllyyyy???? Lol
I still live Mortal kombat as kid and as adult and new one is coming out this year (i know an other one) i hope scorpion kicks some has and takes his vengeance once and for all.
Now , choose your destiny :)
