Continuing the movie theme I suppose, but what movies have you seen recently that you saw years and years ago, that just wasn't up to the great standard you remembered.
For me, there are a few that I really loved back in the day and remembered fondly, but when I recently rewatched them, I was like.....wtf?
Scent of a Woman - I remember Pacino being so good in this movie. When I rewatched it last year I absolutely hated his character and Chris O'Donnel's acting
A movie I just saw yesterday that I had never seen before was Escape from New York. This did not age well.
Lawnmower Man - Loved this movie back when it came out, but wow it did not age well. Horrible plot and acting. Funny thing is, after I watched this movie back in 1992, I had the thought that if you could "plug into" a computer and interrupt the electrical impulses from your various nerves into your brain, you could virtually inject yourself into a made up world.
