Mom recorded these songs in the Summer of 1979 at Buck Owen's Studio on Chester Avenue in Bakersfield. She used members of The Buckaroos and some of her own personnel. The drums were provided by The late Bobby Gallardo, who was loaned to us by David Frizzell.

These tracks were produced by Buck's Producer, Jim Shaw

Me, Mom and The Late Rick Davis performing Clint Black's "A Better Man" at her home studio in December, 1988 - The song wasn't released by Clint Black until February, 1989:

Buck's guitar player Don Rich was killed in a Mororcycle Crash northbound Highway 1 at Yerba Buena in Morro Bay about 11pm on July 17, 1974.

At the time, Don lived in this house at 301 Angell in Bakersfield.

That's really cool having a parent coming from and being all that.

Did you inherit her voice ability?

(y)

Well, I think my sense of timing I inherited, but I don't think I'm a great or even memorable singer, but my voice "gets the job done" so to speak.
