Ever since I bought my 81 burst LP Custom new in 82, I wanted one in black with gold hardware. Never pulled the trigger. So I saw this 2003 AL-2500 on Reverb with Suhr Aldrich pups. The guy only had the 1 pot in it. So I made him a respectable offer and he took it. I’ve got 4 push pull pots, a gold bridge and stop tail, but have been having a hard time find the right tuners. It has Planet Waves, which I removed and measured at 25/64”.
I have a set of Grover locking keystones on order. The plan is to wire it like the Page LP with coil spitting, phase reversing, etc. Here’s what the inside looked like, all removed now.
