Some neck measurements from my stock of Gibson guitars:
I am using a fabric tape to take a wraparound measurement as shown:
2016 Gibson SG T Series 50's Rounded Profile - 4.687"
2016 Gibson Les Paul Studio T Series - Slim Taper - 4.562"
2016 Gibson Les Paul 50's Tribute - 50's Rounded Profile - 4.625"
Von Herndon Prototype Double Neck 6 String Profile - 4.687"
Von Herndon Prototype Double Neck 12 String Profile - 5.250"
Interesting to me is that both the 2016 Gibson SG T Series and the 2016 Gibson Les Paul 50's Tribute both measure .951" with a micrometer, but the SG has fuller shoulders and feels bigger, identical to how the Von Herndon Double Neck feels in your hands...
Note the variation in TRC placement.
