Met My Wife 28 Years Ago Today!

My wife and daughter attend our rehearsals....considering its not their kind of music, that's gotta be love...

I remember clearly because we were downtown in Songtan, Si outside Osan AB celebrating a good friends birthday.

I bought her a drink and chatted a little and went on my merry way. The next day I was wishing I would have got
some kind of contact info or made plans to meet, but I was out drinking and it never dawned on the that I liked
her that much.

A couple days later I went back to the club to see if she might be there, but no luck. So I went down the street to
my favorite place, The Stereo Club. When I walked in her and another girl were at a table drinking. I didn't hesitate
to make it know I was seriously interested.

We went out a few more times and within a month we were living together for what ended up to be our lifetime!
She was 18 and I was 22...oh the good times we've had!

I can tell you the date of the fourth of July party I went to where I met my wife. I had seen her briefly at a rock show a few weeks before with her friends who invited me to the party. Went to the party around noon time, and we hung out until about 4 am. That was twenty five years ago.
 
always fun to see how couples met.

Our life has been very church oriented. 1974. We both just happened to be in a small group together. I was playing my 12 string. Probably Kum ba Yah. :pound-hand: Anyway, turns out she liked guitars. So when I say the guitar player gets the girl..... I have experience in such matters.
