Well I am really in a tissy now. Went to the local Mesa dealer and he had a Filmore 25, thats not the problem though. The problem is I tried it out and . . . DAMN those 6V6's sounded good. When I had my Deluxe Reverb I pulled the 6v6's and played 6L6's, but once again Randell Smith put some MOJO Juice on this amp and I Love It. So now I have to sell the Mini Rec and scrape up another $1K for the Filmore 25. Damn it to hell.

I feel ya man. I sent back the Marshall Jubilee 25 that I bought (just wasn't "special" enough to keep around) and I am about to sell my Mini Rec and one of my cabs and get the Fillmore. It's different-sounding from the Mark 5 enough to justify it, and I really like 6V6 amps.

The good thing on 6V6 tubes is the JJ 6V6S they sound great and hold up well and can take 450V on the plates.
