I told U SMITTY. EVER since I bought this 100 WAtt MARSH to play if I am not playing my 50 watt JMP, my hearing is not good enough to hear a whisper
In case anyone doesn't know I am joking, I really do NOT play loud despite having 4 LOUD amps. I barely put my volumes above 3 on my 50 watt Marshall and 100 Watt Red Knob The Twin without wearing hearing protection. Also, my 100 watt Marsh is now functioning again with new tubes in it after getting test results of one very bad V7 6550, 2 other low spec bad ones in V4 and V5, and a bad V3 12 ax7.
After my 100 watter gets new filter caps and I put a few mods and changes back to spec, I intend to get the amp to a well known amp builder and tech here in Baltimore to check it over. Once he does and corrects any flaws he finds, we can call it ready to go with a clean bill of health.
Then it will be on to my Laney AOR 50 Pro Tube Lead that had some wires chewed by a mouse.
Good luck with your tone quest and hunting down the amp sound you seek, Robert.
