I fully understand what your saying but I don't really have to deal with that kind of traffic...…..I live up on the PA/WV border at the base of the mountains. It's one reason I like my Sportsters (besides being my childhood dream bike). I have owned a couple dirt bikes like a Suzuki Enduro and RM250 & 125 & KDX. I like Enduro's but honestly I don't want to ride on dirt tires and the street tire versions wouldn't be any better at anything than that Yamaha I am liking. Your Triumph is a nice bike, the V-Strom is a nice bike but they don't appeal to me. I won't be spending that kind of money on anything I don't like the look of all that much. All that Yami is I posted is a stripped down version of your style of bike basically and street tires and maybe a better street suspension for better cornering. It's a naked bike which is my thing. Another bike I really should start trying to buy is a V-Max or maybe a KZ-1000 or maybe a V-Rod or a old Magna besides my Sportsters. It's what I likeRob---I can say this -- and I have ridden Cruisers-- crotch rocets standards and enduro or "big trailies"
the ABILITY to see OVER and be seen OVER cars---- is one of the main buying points for me and the Dual Sport models--that Yammi-hopper looks almost like a standard.
