Live recording of my band 2012(on bass)

Got my singer from 2009-16 back in the band today..dug up this recording from 2012. I was on bass, this is 3 years before had to switch to guitar. 6 mic's in the room. we paid the guy 100 & he did 3 songs. These are raw non mixed from a 30 x 40 room with concrete walls.

That's pretty intense! What would you categorize this as a genre if you had to pin a name on it?

I would put it in the punk end of the sectrum.

biggest compliment ever has always been BFT is its own sound but you can not pin us down..

Me & singer used to do acoustic duo & play alot of that type drone music

at the time recording 47 yr old bass & drummer , 28 yr old singer & 19 yr old guitar. Singer plays acoustic on softer mood stuff

there is the explanation of the melting pot of sound result


You get 70- 80's on bass & drum

Soungarden-AIC-style on vocals from alternative

Avenged 7 on guitar in the modern whatever they call it metal
