Hard not to get political, but out of respect for those lost souls, I just pray it never happens again.
September 12th 2001 was the very first time in my 22 years active duty that anyone ever thanked me for my service.
It has always seemed strange to me that it took such a grave event happening on US soil for people to decide we military
folk were of some importance...
No one ever thanked me, not that I ever expected it. I felt lucky not to get spit at.
None of us ever expected a TY, but just know this...Regardless of anything we all will have each others 6 no matter what...its what we were trained to do...
