NOT by Led Zeppelin, but drums played by John Bonhams son, Jason.

From the live recordings I've heard, overall, I agree.

But the ONE time I saw them live they played really well, Page played decently all night and the bass player tore it up, playing keyboards maybe 1/3 of the gig.

I lucked out.

Frankly my whole take away from the Video ---which I already KNEW as he is one of my all time favorites---- The rest of the band was fluff and pomp---
JOHN PAUL JONES IS THE poop! ---driving force---immense talent---and a humble likable bloke at that......

I never listened to much Zeppelin and I never saw them. I've never tried to learn any of their songs.

That gives you a sense of my emotional attachment to them...very little.

But, I do have to ask...what about their performances was so lacking?

the not giving credit or inspired by is not cool. How much credit do you have to give on paper for playing someone elses riff if not doing a full blown cover of a song?

I do love the music either way.
The beginning of this is a little off; the harmonica starts before Plant mouths it.
I f*kin LOVE this, and have been learning the intro solo both with slide and fingers lately.
